Next in our Makers series is Adam Haverly who is a carpenter by trade (and a real Gent too). He has a passion for working with reclaimed materials and can’t stand seeing waste!
Like us, he would be the wrong person to help you de-clutter! However, he sure can make some useful stuff out of reclaimed timber, from doors to kitchens, furniture to homewares, he has also revamped The Duke of Wellington pub in Shoreham, West Sussex.
Antique pine is one of his favourite materials to work with. It always looks so dirty when’s it’s salvaged, but there’s such a hidden beauty underneath, it’s a real joy uncovering it and seeing it transformed. Long may the trend continue!
