Demand for new construction timber is reduced and this benefits the environment in a number of ways, reduction in logging, reduction in energy to process this timber, reduction in the emissions (Co2, NOX) required to transport this timber.
We create employment as we require people to collect this timber, grade it and retail it to customers.
We provide volunteer opportunities to help assist in meaningful work activities.
