July 2018

May and June were 2 of the busiest months for us, we recycled 143 tonnes of waste timber in  May, with new construction sites coming on stream as well as new manufacturing customers.

One new customer was Gatwick Airport Ltd. With 60 companies subcontracting for them in the Environment and Construction sectors, we have already started working with some of them. When restuarants or shops are refurbished in the airport, the waste can brought out ‘Landside’ to be segregated and dealt with. We are able to supply a service within 48 hours to remove the waste timber from site and recycle it.

We have already recycled/re-used some 90 cubic yards of timber from Gatwick and effected a cost saving of approx. £1000 to their contractors.

This is great news for Gatwick Airport in terms of its Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Engagement.
