Collaboration – the process of 2 groups working together to achieve an outcome.
Our collaborative process involves working with other like minded organisations to help them achieve their end goal.
This is usually in the form of timber and/or ideas that are required for community and school projects. This can be as easy as giving timber to schools that want to create bird boxes for the school grounds to encourage wildlife, to supplying timbers for children as seating in Forest Schools, to working with organisations such as Burgess Hill Shed http://bhshed.org.uk/
Burgess Hill Shed provide workshop facilities for individual and community projects. This saves on individuals having to own tools and provides space for working on a project that is bigger than your own shed. It is also a place that people can get together and share experience (which can’t be bought), friendship and a decent cup of tea.
