Well the last few months have been pretty hectic for us, both in terms of waste timber collections and sales of our reclaimed timber.
In fact, the sales of our reclaimed timber have gone so well that we are now low on stock. A combination of circumstances have led to this.
With many people furloughed, DIY projects have been taken on and our cheap timber prices have led many more people to our barn.
With supply chains disrupted during the pandemic, timber supplies to our construction partners have been reduced and they have become much better at using more of their timber (as they should do).
As supply diminishes we have noticed new customers being referred from major timber suppliers.
As prices increase (except ours) new customers are finding out about us from existing customers.
So, we have taken the decision to close on Sundays (temporary measure) in order that we do not disappoint too many customers and are able to build up our stocks again. Please call us to check we have timbers in stock before coming to visit.
